A must play!!
A superb course with exceptional facilities and clubhouse. Great layout and some lovely looking holes. The food in the clubhouse was superb as were the drinks. Would love to come back and play it again. Well worth the green fee.

Fantastic course complemented by great club house

Cracking all rounder. Pleasure to play.
Beautiful course in great condition with quick, true green. Quite scorable due to shorter par 5's but. a lovely test of golf and a warm welcome from all.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 13.9)

Pleasant Spring course
This is a very welcoming club with a fairly forgiving course in a beautiful setting.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 11.7)

Brilliant facility.
The course is in terrific condition considering the summer conditions with the tee boxes and greens really outstanding.Had a wonderful overall experience.

Lovely course
This is very lovely course , well maintain . Greens perfect condition and fairways nice an neat. Stay out of long grass, otherwise your ball is gone. Happen to me few times.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 85 Handicap: 5.5)

Exceptional golf course....great layout
This is a little gem of a course, set in some of the best scenery for a golf course. If you like driving the ball then this is the place for you, open ya shoulders and let rip. We played in March and the greed were awesome, better than most in the summer months.... loved it and worth the money.

(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 23.2)

Brilliant course well worth playing
A course based in the countryside of Hertfordshire with great facilities to practice on before you go out with the greens in great condition.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 21.6)

Pure Class
This course is absolutely stunning.Beautiful to look at, wonderfully kept and an absolute joy to play. It's not long and there is plenty of room off the tee if you are a bit wild despite almost every hole being lined with mature trees. Once on the fairway though you need accurate iron play to challenge the subtly well defended greens. Once dancing, you had better pay close attention to every putt; fast and true the breaks are subtle and the slopes, well, slopey!
Members were super friendly, and the food good, but frankly they could have stabbed me with forks and given me cold Tesco value beans for lunch and I would be back tomorrow in a heartbeat.
Best course I have ever played.

As usual the course was well looked after, and playing nicely. Weirdly, they keep Winter Rules (preferred lies) for a month later than most courses, because of the elevation of the course, but generally, a good weather day means there really is little need for cleaning and placing the ball.
Greens, bunkers, tees and fairways all in good order, and the local deer had not been messing up the course as can happen occasionally. Nice to be back, and hope to play again in 2018.
The food is so good, that our Pensioners Club regularly has 15 more for the lunch than those of us who come to play golf.

a top club all round. great condition and welcoming staff.
