Played the Rothschild today and was a bit wary of the greens from the reviews in April but I found them excellent today. The first nine is much better than the back nine which is a bit flat. A very good course overall and well worth the £20 green fee. Staff were very friendly and lovely to sit outside after the round with a couple of beers in the sunshine.

The outward 9 holes are somewhat uninteresting, being on the flat and with open fairways. However, the back 9 are quite a variety of parkland holes with some water to add challenge. I prefer the Rosebery course on the whole.

Played the Roseberry course on a Groupon deal. Paid £55 for a 4 ball, 18 holes on the Roseberry course, full english breakfast first and 50 range balls. I challenge anyone to get a better deal than this at the moment, absolutely fantastic course, in great nick, tip to breakfast, only slight dissapointment was the range, a little shabby to be honest

Can't wait to return!

Nice course. Nice condition. Holes vary - good challange. Good value on 2 fore 1 @ £25 each - expensive otherwise!

Play the Rothchild Course, the greens were in very good condition and ran extremely true. Had a drink and something to eat after in the players lounge which was surprisngly good value. Will definitely be going back very soon.
Handicap 12- Round 79.

The Rothschild course is very very nice. Great views of Mentmore Towers and surrounding countryside.The clubhouse is very impressive as is the drive in.

You definately have to think your way around this course with plenty of traps to catch you out.

Greens are very big and undulating so correct club selection a must! The greens were very good to putt on too.
