What the club says: Situated a short drive from Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Aylesbury and Leighton Buzzard, our challenging course is 18 holes, par and S.S.S. 72 and measures 6,612 yards from the competition tees. We were founded in 1989 and open for play in 1991. Whilst the golf course is long, many mature trees line the fairways which are generous, and each hole is complimented by excellent greens. The golf course has been designed with ample space between holes. A natural brook runs through the course, which creates some challenging water features and the experience is a good test of golf whatever your handicap.

Course is really dry at the moment, fairways are turning brown already due to the lack of rain.

Greens have had maintenance so will need another week or 2 before they are good to putt on.

Tee boxes aren't great, well used.

Lots of dodgy lies around the greens

We played early am so had the course pretty much to ourselves. Apart from having to putt when sprinklers were still active on the first three holes we really enjoyed the round. A couple of the tees found have been shorter but the greens and fairways were great. Would definitely recommend.

Aylesbury Vale is currently in fantastic condition, after a really tough winter and spring the course has recovered exceptionally well, fairways and greens are amazing,
Greens staff have marked all areas that suffered during the wet weather as G.U.R. which really does help all golfers

Surprising

I have never pressed a call button to gain entry to a golf club car park before! And the clubhouse looks none too loved either....However after that the golf is a pleasant surprise. Teeboxes, fairways and greens are maintained to an exceptional level. I am an 18 handicapper and so it is wonderful to see the grass cut nice and short in and out of the many trees that line the already generous fairways. The length of the course will always keep it interesting for the better player

Great club

Fairways are some of the best in the area.

Good lay out, easy to play, wind and rough will sort you out if off line.

Members are great, best atmosphere at any golf club

Pleasant day

Nice course well maintained, greens are hard and fast so play short and roll on! Course is forgiving of the wayward drive but there are some where you must be straight. Water challenges are in the right place and some well placed bunkers as well. Clubhouse very friendly, reasonable pricing.

Aylesbury vale is a great place to play golf. The greens are always well-maintained and the club does a great job of keeping the course in top condition. They're not afraid to close the course down when they need to in order to protect it, which is really appreciated.

Good condition for recent weather, a couple of long boring up and downs but I?d say 14 really interesting and challenging holes. Greens in good condition considering the snow etc also. I am now considering a membership.

I played Aylesbury Vale in the middle of the 2022 drought, and shortly after work on the greens too, so I probably didn't see it at its best. What I did see was pretty decent though. The fairways were just about holding up to the dry weather, the greens were quick, and the course is a really pleasant place to play.

The course is a little longer than most, but the counter balance to that is that the fairways are very generous on most holes. There's water on a couple of holes, and a fair number of bunkers, but play a semi-decent game and you should score well. I can see this being a popular course for all standards of golfer.

The members I spoke to were pleasant, as was the guy in the pro shop.

You pretty much can't go wrong if you decide on a round here.
