New Years AVGC
Condition was ok given time of year - hangover made things worse !Elevation changes
Greens good condition
Could be fantastic in the summer

O.K.
Played here July , 2020 .Reasonable parkland course but i probably wouldn't be that enthused about playing it again .
Gently undulating in a tranquil setting .Quite wide off the tee with plenty of room & i hadn't played here before but shot just under my handicap so , with the four par fives here as well , i would say you could score well round here .
It was well presented with fairways good to play off & nice condition putting surfaces .
I thought the par threes were underwhelming .
The shortcomings were that i didn't think the greens had been designed that well & the bunkering felt sporadic .The green complexes had a slightly basic feel to them with some of them a bit raised up & with an upturned saucer feel to them & some with just a slope across the whole green & lacking in contouring .The first green was massive but when you stepped onto the par three second tee there was a smallish green in an open area that didn't seem to bear any resemblance to the style of the first green .
The bunkering felt a bit hit & miss .Some holes had no bunkering & some would have just one bunker & nothing else with no consistent theme of bunker placement throughout the course .
So , overall probably worth playing if you haven't played it before as it was well presented with good condition greens but also with some design issues .

First time played this course. Very good value for money at only ?15 green fee for a twilight weekend ticket.
Course was very forgiving with wide open fairways, minimal rough, some trees but overall, for a high handicapper, a good test. Tees and fairways were satisfactory but greens were excellent.
Quite a flat track course, nothing memorable in terms of outstanding holes but a nice flowing brook running through the course,

good value for money
Nice course on Beds/Bucks border.Good value for money, plenty of space on most holes with good greens.

Worth an alternate to Milton Keynes courses
Nice course, fairways well looked after. Some tee boxes could be better and many of the greens a bit disappointing, but overall a nice course(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 20)

Course needs a prolonged period of rain, ground still very hard after the hot summer.
Greens are recovering from scarifying and top dressing, it may take a while for them to return to what they used to be like.

Good value. Suitable for all.
Some long par 4s, but nothing scary. Fairly wide off the tee. Course design is not very sophisticated. Still, a pleasant place to play.Following warm weather the small greens are rock solid and not at all receptive; not a single pitch mark was made by our fourball all day. Putts rolled nicely.

Bad weather affected course but otherwise a nice course
Plenty of areas to practice before hand. Course had been subject to the elements during the week (fair play though - pro shop called ahead to advise carry bags only). Several parts of the courses were a little boggy however all tee boxes were in play and so were all the greens so good effort by the green keepers.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 13)
