I played the Valley course yesterday (9 Hole), and it was a pleasure, the greens were still green and soft, compared to recent courses ive played are brown and dead, well worth £12 for a sunday tee off at 12:00, cant fault it at all.
By far the best course on the South coast open to the public, And much more welcoming than Cams Hall.

great course good condition on the whole with the wet recent conditions. Lots of variety for all handicappers

The Meon Course is looking and playing really well at the moment. Greens are in excellent condition, as are the tee beds and fairways. One tee still off mats owing to the tee bed having been reconstructed recently, but otherwise no complaints, only praise from me for this great venue.
This is an excellent course, certainly the best I have played in Hampshire, and even though it beat me up slightly today, I will still be back for more. Always thoroughly enjoyable. I should also point out that the chaps in the pro shop were very helpful indeed after they ended up taking payment for the round which had been paid in advance. It was not their fault, but they rectified the mistake right away without any kind of hassle.

Played in the rain today. Course drains relatively well and the greens were in excellent condition. This is the best course in the area in my opinion and the people are very friendly. We usually also get a free coffee and bacon roll, a great way to start the round! There are a few signature holes, like the par 3 12th over water, a couple of very challenging long par 4s and some challenging terrain which all make this a thoroughly enjoyable course which I would recommend to anyone,

Played in a threesome with a free round for me and two mates for £20 each. Very cold day and we thought the course might not be in the best of shapes, bit icy on the first few holes then warmed up a bit. Course was in excellent condition and a really good day was had by all three of us.

£10 is a bargain price for this tight demanding course but rather boggy in places so be prepared for your ball to sink rather than fly at times. Well worth a visit.

very nice course, agreat challenge, some holes on both 9's are short, giving you something to think about though, if you haven't played it before, definitley buy a yardage chart, as the 11th caught me out....
