The course was in such good condition considering it was late November
It was such a good day, the course was in great condition despite it being late November and the local golfers being so considerate, fourballs letting our two ball play through as soon as we reached them.Reviewer Rating

Great greens
Course in lovely condition, the greens were particularly good. Unfortunately, followed a society so the round was slower than normal.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 111 Handicap: 26.5)

Starting to look overpriced
As a nomadic golfer, I have played The Rayleigh Club's east course on many occasions over the years. It's mainly for the pay and play brigade or players that find 5,500 yards plus to much. It's a decent test and has generally been in ok condition, but over the last couple of times I've played it, the greens are showing a far bit of wear and tear and are very bumpy. Now I guess you get what you pay for. But given a midweek round has gone up from ?15 pre pandemic (which was about right), to now ?20 it's looking overpriced for what it is. I know clubs have to make back their lost revenues, but they also need to take into account the quality of the course, otherwise sooner or later people are going to take their business elsewhere.

Short but challenging
Although this course I short course and you might not get the driver out that much, this course will certainly expect your short game to be quite on the money.Course has good drainage and generally in very good condition.
