A Grade II Listed Country House, Linden Hall is set in 450 acres of enchanting Northumberland parkland. As well as excellent accommodation, the hotel offers Dormy House rooms, perfect for guests looking for that more tranquil experience. Dining facilities include the more formal Dobson Restaurant, serving first-class cuisine whilst offering breathtaking views across the Northumberland countryside. For a less formal experience, Linden Hall has its very own pub, the Linden Tree, a traditional country inn that has all the charm and atmosphere you would expect. could do with been kept in shape in places fairways etc, green in poor condition for such a prestige place to play golf at. apart from that was ok all freendly staff

Only criticism was the lack of sand in the bunkers of which there are plenty! Otherwise a lovely course with some nice par 3s

The conditions were abit splodgy but then what can you expect in January! Wonderful course though and I'll definitely play again when the weather improves. Some amazingly scenic but challenging holes.

It's always difficult for me to be too objective about this course, as it's been a favourite of mine for some time. The course is difficult but very fair, if you play well you'll be rewarded. Some of the best par 3's in the region, and a feeling of seclusion as you play each hole. Yes, it can suffer when the weather is poor, and it was a bit heavy on New Year's Day, but still worth the effort.

Booked on a wowcher, ?39 fpr a bacon roll and coffee and 18 holes for my girlfriend and myselg. Great value and course. PS dont take driver on stroke index 1 unless you can fade the ball!!!

Course could be absolutely beautiful, but it isn't. It hosts 2 of the most picturesque par 3 holes I've ever seen, yet they're not well maintained so they don't look anywhere near as good as they could. Greens are in reasonable conditions, bunkers are below average with large pools of water (despite no rain for over 24 hours) and tee boxes are not well looked-after at all.

I only visit here once every few years. Some lovely holes. Not enough money put into the course to keep it in the standard it deserves. Unfortunately staff in the pub are less than helpful and prices are above average.

Lovely course to play. A few dog-leg holes, and some par 3's to play over water.
Lots of deepish bunkers which are hidden from the tees.
