A Grade II Listed Country House, Linden Hall is set in 450 acres of enchanting Northumberland parkland. As well as excellent accommodation, the hotel offers Dormy House rooms, perfect for guests looking for that more tranquil experience. Must play!
Amazingly it's been 4 years since I last played Linden Hall. I think it's a great course, quite tight, especially on some of the back nine, but always fair. Great views, great layout and good facilities, it's a great stay and play venue, and well worth the price.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course with plenty of holes that make you think about club choice off the tee which i like, im not a fan of driver every par 4 and 5. Staff were very welcoming and funny. Course was wet when i played but still imacculate.

Well worth a go
If your in the area, this course is well worth a go.It is a challenge for all standards of golfers. Some excellent holes that you need to think about, brilliant par 3?s and par 5?s that you can have a ho at.
Fairways are well maintained and run nicely. Greens are some of yhe best around. Rough is high and this is the only down side, not sure it needs to be so high, but all courses seem to be doing this. Professional golfers don't play on courses with such vicious rough that courses seem to be producing these days, not just here, but all courses.
Shame that pub/restaurant was closed, but half way hut was excellent.
Walkways/paths between certain holes were poor and can imagine in poor weather they would be interesting.
Overall an excellent course.

Great course
haven't played Linder for a while, but it's always a pleasure, and was really good value. As ever the par 3's are the stars, all four of them are excellent. Bunkers were a bit hard, but probably due to the heavy rains and then warmer weather baking them slightly. All in all though, a great experience as usual.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 89 Handicap: 11.2)

Capts day Superb event

One of the best
Linden Hall is in my opinion one of the best courses in the North East and I've played a lot of them. I'm a high handicapper (24) but quite often get my best scores ever here. The course itself is in excellent condition and the greens play well. There are some challenging holes but most have plenty of fairway to catch unforgiven shots. The 2 par 3 on the front 9 are absolutely fantastic having to be quite precise in your choice of club and shot. The Par 5s are achievable within 6 shots which is spot on for me still allowing to score points in Stableford and the par 4s allow me to get the odd par score which a real confidence booster. The views can be quite stunning and there's plenty of wildlife to keep you abused whilst walking to your ball. The lads in the pro shop are very friendly and helpful and the new PGA coach Greg is a cracking lad. They have top notch practise facilities also to warm up on before hand. I love this course and come away on a high wether Ive played bad or good.Reviewer Rating

Scotland Trip

It's always difficult for me to be too objective about this course, as it's been a favourite of mine for some time. The course is difficult but very fair, if you play well you'll be rewarded. Some of the best par 3's in the region, and a feeling of seclusion as you play each hole. Yes, it can suffer when the weather is poor, and it was a bit heavy on New Year's Day, but still worth the effort.

It's over a year since I've played Linden, and it had fallen off our radar a little. But after today, I'll be back again. I'd almost forgotten what a truly great course this is, challenging without being overly scary. It's well bunkered and the rough is genuine rough, but if you play well you can score well. Stunning par 3's as well. All in all a great championship quality course, and at £15 on tee times, ridiculously good value. Everyone should play here at some time.

Course in excellent condition and a good challenge.Not too long off the yellow tees, but some interesting slopes around the greens keep you on your toes.Lovely setting and a couple of stoats around for animal lovers!

Fantastic course, one of my favourites in Northumberland. Course was heavy and bunkers mostly flooded, but not surprising given the biblical levels of rain last night. All in all excellent as usual, a must play in the region.
