crowded course with holes close to one another but well maintained and good for a round. Good club house.

Good course, layout made it a little difficult to find some holes on what was our first visit. Following a large group kids (6+) having a lesson on a Saturday afternoon was frustrating and made for a very slow start - fortunately they only played 3 holes. Generally well kept and good value for money. Would play again. Played July 2014.

Nice club, interesting layout considering the short length. Greens are a little slow (long grass) and the pin locations never seem to change. Could do with watering the fairways. However, decent pay and play for the occasional round.

Not a long course at 5200 yds from the yellows, but it is enjoyable. The front 9 seemed a little tight, with a few holes running up and down next to each other, but it picks up on the back 9 where there are some very good looking holes. The 11th, 17th and 18th are the highlights, and it's a nice way to finish a round.
As for the condition, the greens were really good, while there were few complaints about the tees and fairways.

I believe this was a 3* course as it lacked a few key qualities. The tee's weren't in great shape and some holes were fairly straight and short. However, the greens are treated well and the fairways were ok. The back 9 was definitely better as the hills came into play, making a few great holes. But, the competition around this area and down towards surrey, were there are many great courses for low prices, means that I just couldn't bring myself to giving a 4*.

considering the heat hte course was in excellent condition. However, it is comically short in places. 6 iron and a 52 wedge for many holes. Excellent green considering the heat

The course is ok if you like hitting a rescue club and a pitching wedge into every hole, greens were flat and boring and every hole was short and forgettable. The last 4 holes are probably the best. I liked the buzz in the clubhouse and the food was nice, not stuffy and full of the blue rinse brigade like some places.

It's a beautiful course, surrounded by stunning trees and lovely views. The course isn't particularly long or hard, but not too easy either. A good challenge for the higher handicapper.

Very tight course with tight out of bounds. If your drives are a little wayward take an iron of the tee.

Course was very well kept and was challenging. The only negative was that the course was quite short and there was a lot of backwards and forwards between tees.

A few holes in the front 9 are fairly boring and straight forward. A few interesting elevated and sloping holes at back 9, especially hole 18. Good direction signs. Greens are generally good. Excellent value at £12.50 pp using discount vouchers.
