good workout
Course in reasonable nick considering the weather and has enough challenge to keep you interested at a mid-high handicap level.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 18.7)

Reasonable quality pay and play venue
HoeBridge is an all things to all folk kinda place, and you can get a quite decent game of golf here. The layout is decently long, with mostly sensible rough etc, but is let down by some below par greens, particularly 11 and 14.Reviewer Rating

nice course
In pretty good nick considering, fairways a bit bare here and there and greens just been treated but they have to do it some time.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 17.5)

Great course but oh so slow!
Very nice course with tees, fairways and greens in good condition. Lovely views. This course is generally busy but in this post lockdown period it was heaving. We had to wait to tee-off as there had been some double booking in front of us. Players were backed up all the way round the course. I will not return until there is better management of golfers.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 108 Handicap: 24.5)

Good Course but nearly always busy
1) Good challenge2) Undulating & Scenic in places.
3) Limited distances markings these days (maybe they believe everyone should have watches or something ???).
4) Almost always busy so 5 hour rounds not unusual !

Mixed bag
Enjoyable course, with some length off the yellows, and the greens were in good condition. There are several blind tee shots, of which I'm less of a fan. Some have bells to ring further down the fairway, but with the wind we had we couldn't hear them. In turn, we wasted time in a queue waiting for nothing, so a little frustrating. The facilities are great here, with chipping area, putting area, and a large driving range. Also par 3 and a short course is available.Reviewer Rating

Mr
For a public course Hoebridge is in very good condition. Being a public course the downside is that play can sometimes be very slow and isn't managed.Reviewer Rating

Needs some investment
Pyrford has always been a great course over the years, but it has been sold from Crown golf to new owners. At the moment the quality of the course has suffered. The greens are still in fantastic condition but the bunkers are very poor. It needs some investment, which I am hoping the new owners will invest in it.Reviewer Rating
