Summer challenge
By and large, the tee boxes and greens were in good order. It has been dry, and the fairways allow a good bounce and roll. However, fringes to the greens were parched, to the point that they were hard baked soil, and this caused a few issues with good lay up shots running off sideways or backwards. Nothing a little extra TLC wouldn't address, but did leave the group with some unexpected frustrations.Reviewer Rating

Shey Copse
There are 3 courses at Hoebridge. A full 18, a full 9 and an 18 Par 3. The Shey Copse is the 9 consisting off 6 fours and 3 threes. The course is ok, nothing special and runs adjacent to the 18 course which did look like it was better looked after.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 55

Great Winter Golf at Hoebridge
Enjoyable Sunday at Hoebridge on the 18. Busy day as the weather was mild and dry but tee times were well spaced and course in good condition. Reasonable price too.Would recommend and return.

Decent condition for time of year but far too slow
Booked to tee at 10ish on a Thursday. Tees running 10 mins behind. Pace really slow - had to wait on every hole - mentioned it to the course marshal after 9. 2:30 for the front 9, 2:20 for the back 9 playing as a 3 baller.Course condition was pretty good for the time of year and the amount of rain recently. Greens decent in terms of quality and condition. Course was quite interesting with a variety of elevations, distances and dog legs.
Other facilities very good, nice club house (although restricted menu), walkways, practice areas etc all in very good condition.
Paid £25 as a member's guest - very fair value.
I would visit against but please do encourage / enforce that faster groups are called through.
