Worth a visit
High Elms track is very challenging with lots of character especially the par 4's.The uphill 13th par 3 is a very demanding hole.
With more care from the greens staff this could be a lovely pay and play course.
Greens were quite scarred and bumpy due to winter conditions.

Awful
The layout and the design of the course is good but it has to be in the worst condition of any 18 hole golf course I have ever played. How My time have allowed this to happen is beyond Belief. This is many many months of shoddy management. Appalling!!Reviewer Rating

lovely, challenging par 4's
As the Autumn season begins, the course is getting more lush and longer to play.The greens are very receptive, although their speed is quite slow.
The bunkers need alot of work to bring them up to scratch.

Good day
Great day the course is more than fair condition. Greens are not bad but bunkers could maybe have a touch more sand.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 105 Handicap: 35.5)

not a good course
cut grass is not collected from the fairways. Poor conditions on the fair ways. not properly maintainedGreens ar not compareable with other similar courses

Challenging for the beginner
As a newcomer to the game I found High Elms pretty challenging however I found the lack of facilities a let down as there was very little in terms of practice area aside from a few driving nets and a waterlogged putting green.Reviewer Rating

Was ok. Greens needed watering and cutting. Tee boxes were in good condition though. Booked this online through golf now so got a pretty good deal as it was also twilight rate. Wouldn't wanna pay anymore then ?30 on weekend though (not sure of weekend price)Reviewer Rating

Never again!
Waited on almost every hole and fairway as they have packed too many people on in 8 minute slots which is no where near long enough for a 4 ball to get through a hole. A lot of the tee boxes were in bad condition and also parts of some of the greens. I also damaged a club from a huge rock in an unmaintained bunker. All of our 4 ball have voewd never to go back.Reviewer Rating
