Good course, with tight fairways and quick undulating greens. our golf here was very enjoyable and extremely good value for money.

Played this course twice in the last month and have loved it both times the staff are friendly and are willing to help. I have only played the lakes-valley circuit which has a variety of holes from short over water par 3s to 90 degree dog leg par 4s. It's a course where a huge drive might not get you the lowest score and taking a sensible lay up is a must. This is a challenging but very enjoyable course would deffinately recommend a visit.

One of the 9's is short and appreciably less challenging than the other two 9's. Do not let this put you off though as it is well worth a visit. A tough, interesting, challenging course.

The red 9 is excellent. Very challenging with lots of different holes.
Well worth a visit but if you can get a buggy. You need to book up well in advance. We tried to book 3 months before and failed! Would strongly recommend a weekend here

Enjoyable round of golf, with friendly golf staff. Golf course is very pretty and is in an idyllic location.

Played here Sunday having played here many times before, once again I was not disappointed. The course is in very good condition for the time of year and the greens were all in play and were excellent ( still running quick ). I always enjoy my round at Hellidon and it is easily one of my favourite course to visit. Great Value for money.

Played here Sunday just gone on an amazing Winters morning. Course was in excellent condition and very challenging. The greens are very tricky adding to the courses defence with lots of borrows and breaks, and ran true and quite quick for the time of year. There are no two holes alike on this course adding a uniqueness and quality, which is hard to find, and the views are breathtaking. This is a golf course I would not hesitate to play many times, and I'm looking forward to my next outing there.

Course in fabulous condition from tee to green at present, and great value for just £10 from teeofftimes.co.uk. Very pretty all the way around and an absolute joy to play.

This course is a bit out in the wilds, but don't be put off. It's a great course to play and is strong enough to handle even the lower handicappers.
A parkland course with doglegs, strategic bunkering and great greens (even on a wet & misty february day most greens were quick)
Good use of water and you need to trust your yardages, some holes look longer/shorter, and trust me they do catch you out.
Hotel is attached and the rooms are brilliant.
look at golfbreaks for some deals.
Recommended.

Very enjoyable weekend
Stayed on a one-night two round deal Sept 2022. The hotel is clean and the majority of rooms have been renovated with new carpets etc. Can't fault cleanliness or comfort. Dinner and breakfast were very good and the snack provided after our 2nd round was excellent. The course (Hellidon/Lakes) is on the challenging side but not unplayable for a 20 handicapper. Greens and bunkers were well maintained (some tee boxes could do with levelling) and everyone in the Society said they would return. Recommended.Reviewer Rating
