Course is always very good but greens really need to be addressed as very patchy. You could possibly give a bit of lee way due to the hot weather earlier in the year but 4 or 5 greens were the poorest I’ve seen for a long time

Uncrowded, interesting, varied holes
Easy to book and excellent value with a choice of three combinations of 9 holes. Very quiet on a sunny Thursday morning in August.The water comes into play on a number of holes and this together with an undulating course and sloping fairways make it quite a challenge for high handicap golfers.
Do not forget that you can use the hotels facilities including the bar with outside seating.

Very enjoyable with some odd but challenging holes, Short par 4's gives you a chance to go for the green.

Nicely laid out
Every hole is different & loads of dog legs for to suit both shot shapes.Will definitely be visiting again as only 40 miles from Oxford.Reviewer Rating

With the fairways drying out this was a tough course and one that you had to manage your way around

Beautiful course in the rolling hills and countryside. Greens were quite firm and not so receptive.

Exceptional Value
Played the 18 for ?10, worth every penny. A bit muddy under foot in places due to recent weather. Greens and fairways in good condition for the weather we have had. Will definitely be attending here again. Pint in the bar a bit pricey, but it is a hotel, menu looked reasonable.Unfortunately the golfers bar which overlooks the course and 18th was closed! Great viewing area when open.
