Well worth a play ! Very interesting and in great nick. Brilliant value for money with a deal negotiated and would certainly play again.

Hadn't played here for over 10 years but will not leave it so long next time ! My golfing buddy managed to negotiate a deal for a round of golf,lunch and a buggy for about £30 each which was a real bargain I the course itself was in excellent condition,very interesting to play and not a dull hole in sight ! The weather was perfect and some decent golf played. Not too busy and very friendly staff. A buggy is a must as it's quite hilly in places which just adds to the interest of the course. Will certainly play again.

Played this on a groupon voucher for £20 including choice of anything from menu. So in that respect it was good value. The greens were the fastest I've played on in ages and were well kept. Not much in the way of signposting between greens to the next tee. We got lost going from the 11th green trying to find the 12th tee. A couple of signs with clear directions like "12th Tee this way" would have made all the difference. Very hilly course compared to most that I play and very tiring pushing the trolley around some of the cart tracks that you HAVE to follow as you can't get your trolley through the fence. It's a bit like Skylark Meadows nee Quindell, doesn't really know if it wants to be a country club or golf club.

We played the course with a groupon voucher, excellent day. GREAT value, course was in good condition and the pro shop was very helpful. Would recommend.

Excellent course, some challenging holes and very picturesque. Greens were in great condition and course not as wet as you might have though for winter. Excellent facilities and food also and a bargain for only £15 during the week. A must visit, cant wait to return.

Excellent course
Set on the boundary of the New Forest Hamptworth is a very well-designed and maintained golf course. It provides a good test even for the best of golfers. Reflecting recent investment the clubhouse is of an excellent standard.Overall I would recommend a visit.

Good course worth visiting
Set amongst the slopes of the New Forest this course is worth a visit. Very good tees and fairways and on the day I played true running greens. Be aware of the slopes and some of the walks from greens to the next tee, if you walk a good level of fitness is required. Buggies are available if booked in advance.Reviewer Rating
