Fantastic Course
Hamptworth is a fantastic course, loads of interesting holes with excellent facilities all adds up to a great day of golf. You also have a par 6 if your brave enough.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 106 Handicap: 24.3)

Hidden Gem in the Forest
Lovely course which I would happily play regularly but just a bit far to travel to for me(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 20.3)

Great course but tiring
Charity Golf Day - 9 hole scramble followed 18 hole stableford - tiring, quite up & down, but nearly every hole is different, and some real challenges. Nice food in club house and staff were outstanding; couldn't fault any aspect of the day. And the greens were quick & true. Definitely want to play here again.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 25)

Super day out
Excellent course, particularly the greens. You do need to be aware of your distances, however, especially when approaching the ditches and hazards.The staff were excellent too.

Just come back from a boys weekend away golfing in Bournmouth. Played hamptworth the last day and wished we'd played it every day. That's not to say the other courses were bad but their members made us feel extreamly unwelcome. Hamptworth is Great value and on the whole a good golfing experience.

We played Hamptworth a couple of months ago but I\'ve only just got around to posting my promised review. We phoned for a tee time not knowing anything about the course or club. The Pro in the shop was very friendly and helpful. On arriving he saw us approach the clubhouse and said Hi and explained he was just about to give a lesson. When we went in to pay they suggested we have a coffee go and enjoy our round and pay when we finished. The course was in excellent condition and they are apparently doing lots of work to make it even better, there is a nice variety of interesting holes with the Beast being just one of the highlights. My husband and I said after just a few holes that we would be making Hamptworth a regular stop from now on when we visit our Daughter in Dorset, at £25 including the coffee and Bacon Roll it is outstanding value, but not only that, the Pro, the staff and the members we came across we\'re all very friendly and welcoming too. Looking forward to our next trip.

I have played at Hamptworth twice now over the last 3 months and I must say it is getting better each time. The changes they are making to the course are fantastic.
If you have not played here at all or even recently you must put it on your list to play in the summer, you will be impressed.
Also the restaurant is great, far more than just golf club food. I would actually go there for an evening out!!

The course is in fantastic condition and the greenkeepers and Mark the boss seemed to have worked wonders. The problems of waterlogging fairways have been rectified by a lot of drainage systems being put in to the course. The proshop is full and Nick Stoner and staff are always ready to help. We always have a bite to eat and the food is freshly prepared and is ideal.

Hadn't played here for over 10 years but will not leave it so long next time ! My golfing buddy managed to negotiate a deal for a round of golf,lunch and a buggy for about £30 each which was a real bargain I the course itself was in excellent condition,very interesting to play and not a dull hole in sight ! The weather was perfect and some decent golf played. Not too busy and very friendly staff. A buggy is a must as it's quite hilly in places which just adds to the interest of the course. Will certainly play again.
