Makes you think!
This will test the average golfer and those better. The water running across many of the fairways will keep you on your toes. Long drives very much required but also concentration on putts. A real quality test of the players ability.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 25.5)

Millionaires golf.
We play here regular. As such we get off first and it's like your own course. Nobody about. Gorgeous setting. Peaceful. Greens were fabulous condition. Staff always top class. A pleasure to play here.Reviewer Rating

I've played this course on and off since it was built. Recently I have been a bit hesitant to go as the rough was getting more and more punitive. The last time I went I felt the course really neded some money spent on it.
There has been a definite change in the way the course is being managed. The greens are terrific. A lot of work has gone into the areas around the greens. The fairway onto the apron is tight. Very good condition.
We all really enjoyed the whole environment. And super welcome and care from the Pro shop.

An excellent course and fantastically friendly staff and members. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this course and will certainly play it again as soon as possible. I t looked spectacular, especially in the April sunshine. The club also clearly plan to improve things even further, which shows impressive ambition and dedication to providing top notch golfing experiences.

Amazing course, definitely worth a visit!
Wow, what a brilliant course. We all agree that this was one of the best courses we have played ever. Brilliant selection of holes, beautifully maintained course. Greens were best I've played, and they are putting effort into making them even better. A very long walk, quite hilly, next time I think I?d take a buggy.Lovely clubhouse, nice cold beer with brilliant views over the new forest countryside.

Tough, hilly and long enough off the back for anyone. Long walks between tees. Greens were in good nick. Clubhouse and staff all welcoming, and food good.

Not sure what this Brian chap is talking about but just played Hampworth for first time in 10 years.Thought the layout was good and very challenging,and the course has recovered really well after the long hot summer.Greens had a good quality grass on them and ran true.Staff and clubhouse all very welcoming and friendly.The twilight rates were very reasonable and a good time was had by all.

Brilliant Golf!
Great Course and Great Staff. The Course is testing but enjoyable, I really liked playing the Par 6, I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t love the place. The sign out the front saying ‘No miserable people allowed’ made sure the atmosphere in the clubhouse was upbeat!Reviewer Rating

Greens in poor condition, very slow. Lots of pitch marks. Lots of bare lies around the greens. Shabby areas where bunkers have been removed or re- shaped, just not finished.
The clubhouse was closed by 6pm with people still on the course.
