well maintained and well managed. the pins were well placed for the gold day and quite challenging. More staff behind bar would be good

Great Venue

Society visit - great success playing both Valley & Lakes courses over 2 days. Valley course looks better & front 9 of Lakes course not as inspiring as back 9. But overall a good venue. Especially as comfortable venue and excellent staff

Course was set up lovely

Played the Lakes course today, 1st time in about 3 months or so. The whole course has been prepared very well & a real credit to the greenkeepers

Gets better as you progress round

Great course, but you wonder why it called the Lakes until you get to the back nine - which despite being much harder in my view is a better challenge for your game and better half of the course.

Hilly, but very interesting course

The par 68 course is a little on the short side at 5,401 yards off the yellows and it’s quite hilly, so less mobile golfers should book a buggy. However, the course was quite challenging and very interesting, particularly the back 9, with the 17th being a bit of a feature hole.

valley course

shorter course but getting tighter each year greens were in good nick but the tee boxes were below average
