What the club says: Set in the Welland Valley with spectacular views over the surrounding picturesque countryside. The course is 18 holes par 71 of 6175 yards. Water can come into play on nine of the holes but especially so on the 9th, 10th & 11th, which must be tamed, then a good score is a distinct possibility. Good drainage ensures that the course is playable all year round on the main greens although some temporary tees may be used in the winter months. The Course was opened in April 1995 with Messrs. Hawtree as the designers.

Had a nice day out, nice location, friendly staff and members out on the course, Nice course layout with some nice tricky holes where plenty of water lies in wait, greens were a bit bumpy but looked like they were being treated so should be good in a few weeks. Will definitely visit again. :-) - Apr 29 2013
Golf Course Reviews for Stoke Albany Golf Club
Boring course, greens full of moss, bumpy, in places, didn't enjoy the place.
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 27)
After all the rain we have had the course was not in dad shape. The only problem was if you hit if the faraway the grasse was much to long and some of the bunkers where just mud. Needs a bit more TLC
The course really lacks something!! Needs more green staff,
Needs a proper club house, needs changing rooms, as my title says
Not one of the best ????
Price on website £20. Actual £15. Very friendly in pro shop. Gave us free coffee whilst we waited for first tee. Course in excellent condition. Greens superb. Unfortunately there is no bar and no food to be had. So enjoy the magnificent golf then go to the pub in the village

Overall course ok. Some bunkers full of weed, other over full with sand

(Round played: Mar 2016 - Score: 84 Handicap: 11.4)
Great all round venue. Greens and fairways in great shape despite the recent heavy rain. My only complaint was that some of the tees were boggy and many of the bunkers were filled with water but overall a quality track I would definitely visit again.

(Round played: Nov 2015 - Score: 125 Handicap: 28)
Course is great and greens in good shape - would keep playing all year round if possible - hope the greens hold through the winter
(Round played: Oct 2015 - Score: 104 Handicap: 20.9)
(Round played: Jun 2015 - Score: 101 Handicap: 21.5)
This has the potential to be a lovely course and there are signs that some investment is being made (a number of bunkers have been restored/new sand on the back 9) but overall there is a lot to be said for an empty course on a Sunday afternoon in late June, it should have been much busier...
