An interesting course - we enjoyed the back 9 more than the front. Greens in excellent condition. Staff very welcoming at the Club House. Good pitching practice facility.

Scenic parkland course offering a challenge to all golf handicaps. Not too long but demanding good course management. In good condition despite some heavy rain overnight.

Course was in great condition and was a great test. The only downfall was the slight feeling of pomposity which was confirmed as I was taking my trolley between a winter tee and ladies tee throught the rough and was abruptly told by 2 older members to get off the winter tee which I was 5 yards from which they couldn't see but wasn't given chance to explain ! I hadn't played here before but play 9hcp and choose to play as a nomad golfer. Those guys did not do a good course/club proud.

Ive just been reading the rather descriptive review of the "mizuno man" and can honestly say I agree 100% with the comments made. I too feel that I have been targeted by the infamous man. His condescending nature paired with his arrogant approach is not fit to grace any golf club. The "mizuno man" seems to be making quite the name for himself for all the wrong reasons which is a real shame to a rather good Golf Course.

First things first my first impression of the golf club was a member shouting "tickety boo" - not very sophisticated to say the least. Things looked up as we arrived in the pro shop as the staff were helpful and polite. As i arrived on the first tee i was greeted with "what f*cking time are you teeing off?" again not to friendly! how ever the course was in superb shape and a credit to the green staff. would recommend but would not join!!

Well set up, maximising the land space to create some challenging, interesting, and fun holes. Some long Par 4's are a test even for low handicappers. There are also some very reachable short Par 4's. The greens are true, if a little slow. The tee's were untidy, but given the battering they have probably had during the busy June period, it did not ruin the round.
There are a few holes where you need to keep an eye on other groups due to being close to their landing zone. Take a crash helmet if you have a nervous disposition.
Staff in the pro shop were very friendly, unlike some of the members on the course who do not know that you should shout 4 if you are close to decapitating someone!
My negative comments are in light hearted. A very enjoyable round and would definately play again in the future.

A testing course, hilly in places with some tight holes. Friendly club with good bacon sarnies!

First time out in around 7 years. A challenging parkland course for the novice golfer, without too many penalties if you are not in play.

Played just after a day of rain. Course had drained well. Greens were fast and ground staff were busy cutting tees and fairways.
