I thought the course was in good condition and greens excellant. Felt like one of the easiest courses I have played. Playing for the first time, 82 h'cap 11 3 birdies :-)

A very tight and challenging course with an interesting variety of holes. Some of the course requires repair, especially across the longer holes due to damage by animals that was not attended to and poor drainage.

Fantastic staff in the bar, but the staff in the pro shop are extremely unhelpful. On the past 2 occasions I have visited, we have had to wait for approx. 45 mins at the tee. The first time, due to the fact that we were not given a tee-time, but advised that there shouldn't be much of a delay. On the second occasion, we were given a tee-time, but advised that the shop had not held this for us (against the instruction of the club secretary!) and that if we were in a rush, we should tell the 20 people ahead of us that we were to play ahead of them!!!

Finally, some of the members need to realise that they are representing their course and behave accordingly. Some very ill-mannered individuals who felt that they had a right to be ignorant as they had a member's badge on their bag. This experience had led me to decide that I won't be considering a membership myself!

Overall...nice course, but prepare for a wait...and please ignore the behaviour of some of the members

I have only played this course once but totally loved it. Lots of really good holes and was in excellent conditions, from the greens through to the fairways.

It was also a total bargain compared to so many other courses I have played. I only wish this course was closer to where I live.

Rough around the edges

Had heard good things but was a little disappointed. Food was decent before and after but the course was a little shabby in places.
I understand that work had recently been done on the greens so nothing wrong with those but the tee beds weren't good and the bunkers some of the worse I've seen. Didn't look like they had been raked in a while and had piles of sand in some and none in other parts.

Superb test of golf

Second time playing this course. It's a real challenge. Some of the greens are elevated like you wouldn't believe. Fairways are in great condition. The greens aren't the best but the weather hasn't been great. I was behind a women's comp and they wouldn't let me thru which meant my round took me just over 3 hrs. Not a big deal. I shot 85, handicap 17.4. Very pleased considering I played poorly but scored well.

Picturesque Parkland Course

Good for all handicappers. Course playing very well in view of very dry conditions for the last few weeks

Chorlton cum hardy

Great course, not easy need to think your way round and what club to use off the fee the wind was blowing very strong ???? in the day making some holes double hard enjoyable though highly recommended.

Well kept Parkland Course

Course in good condition especially considering the amount of wet weather. Scenic parkland course offering a challenge for all levels of player. Warm , welcome fell to club

Friendliest course in Brittain

Thanks to Debbie for laying on our Society's visit on Sun 21 Jan 2018 as it was seamless. This club has got to be the friendliest place in Britain as everyone took time to guide us and ensure we had a great experience. Food was superb and plentiful. Greens were amazing to say that we were in deepest darkest winter and there were only 3 Temps.
Can't wait to go back in sunnier climes and will definitely be a regular fixture for our Society.
