What the club says: Didsbury is a par 70 parkland course and measures 6,211 in length from the white tees. There is a nice variation of the holes here, with the par 5 third hole being particularly challenging at 520 yards and some tough fairway bunkers to contend with.

Great fun on a very nice course
A food challenge without making it too difficult for the higher handicap players(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 17.8)

Attractive Lancashire Parkland Course
Course suitable for all handicappers running along the side of the mersey.Course in good condition.Demands accuracy .(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 127 Handicap: 26.1)

Improved
Haven’t played since 2012, and the course has matured nicely into a good test of golf on an interesting lay outGood condition greens and fairways better st present than some of the other Mersey courses

Course is in great shape
Really enjoyed my round today, the course has had a fair bit of work, trees removed, bunkers removed and bushes cut back. There are beautiful flowers on some tee boxes and the greens are in great shape.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.1)

(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 15.5)

Nice course for beginners
My first round for 9 years, and a good course to play as it's flat and relatively open with few troublesome hazards.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 114 Handicap: )

Great value.
Played a twilight round at Didsbury (my first visit). Course was in good condition and virtually empty. For ?15 after 4 it?s well work it.

Didsbury 5th October
Great course with a good mix of challenges.Few temporary greens which is never great but unfortunately unavoidable in order to complete irrigation work.I would definitely play Didsbury again.

My Club
Fairways and greens in perfect condition, course in fine shape too lots of work carried out on the whole course. Playing well.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.1)

My club
Course is getting better as the weeks go by, it has been so wet of late that the ground is so sodden. Course is drying and is improving all the time, greens a little wooly but are due a cut tomorrow before the weekend comp. Lots of husbandry around the course and a couple of bunkers removed and greens made smaller.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 19.6)

Flat, but challenging course
A really good course for trying out a few shots, but be careful not to under estimate it's flat vista. Lots of subtle nuances to challenge your entire bag and enough problems to keep you guessing. The professional and the membership were extremely friendly, and the golf course for the extremely wet weather we've just had, was in a good condition. All round well worth a visit, and a course I will play more often.

Not great
Although the course layout itself was not to bad the fact that they were on 9 winter greens and all winter tees but failed to tell us before kid round is shocking. It is common courtesy to tell people that have booked to play that the course is going to be playing short and I'm bad condition(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 70 Handicap: +0.2)

Generally poor
Played for the second time so was prepared for the featureless repetitive holes. Wasn't prepared for how awfully kept the course was, worst I've ever played on.Finished after 12 and tried to salavage the day with a pint in the nice clubhouse. Pint was OK but bar staff were awful. Took a my card and disappeared behind the bar rather than bring the machine to me and then got a load of attitude because I asked for a receipt!
There are so many great courses on the doorstep I can't think of a single reason to go to Didsbury. If the course were well maintained it would just about be average, but it's not.

Didsbury
Temp greens - didn’t tell us the society we were playing in. Bit naughty really.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 9.5)

OK but the approach to the course is a bit weird.
There is a fair bit of crossing over of fairways also, especially in the area off the main course. A bit tight and claustrophobic. Generally a nice parkland course though.
