Gem of a course
Absolute belter of a course. Lush fairways, true greens, every hole something different. Excellent find on 1 of 3 courses which are based around the river Mersey.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 98 Handicap: 20.4)

Course is in great shape
Really enjoyed my round today, the course has had a fair bit of work, trees removed, bunkers removed and bushes cut back. There are beautiful flowers on some tee boxes and the greens are in great shape.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.1)

Really nice well set out golf course, great fairways and greens! Flat well kept tee boxes too! Only gripe is the bunkers hard muddy sand! Yes it was raining but not a lot of sand in them! Friendly staff and members. Great day besides the monsoon! Great practice facilities

The course for this time of year (Xmas) was great! 18 greens in play and all rolling well. The work done to improve the 5 troublesome greens is a credit to the club and green staff. Will be top notch in the summer.

Flat, but challenging course
A really good course for trying out a few shots, but be careful not to under estimate it's flat vista. Lots of subtle nuances to challenge your entire bag and enough problems to keep you guessing. The professional and the membership were extremely friendly, and the golf course for the extremely wet weather we've just had, was in a good condition. All round well worth a visit, and a course I will play more often.Reviewer Rating

COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE EVEN AFTER SOME HEAVY RAINFALL, LOTS OF COMETIC WORK HAS BEEN CARRIED OUT REMOVING TREES AND TRIMMING LARGE BUSHES OPENING THE COURSE A LITTLE MORE.

Played this course mid afternoon in the week and we saw 2 other groups out on the whole course! Course is really nicely looked after, tees, fairways and greens all in good condition, the odd bumpy green on the other side of the motorway but generally excellent. Lots of interesting holes and course management is a must on many of them. very easy to get blocked out which makes it interesting and enjoyable - its not another "lash one up there" course and fairways/hybrids are good options on a few holes! Not overly difficult - you can hit the ball into trouble and chip out, but a good course for good players and beginners alike - not overly difficult, but interesting enough for better players. Bunkers could have done with a bit more sand, a few of them looked a bit thin. Friendly "locals" and chap behind the bar very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely play it again.

A gem of a course, very well presented and fair to all standards of golfer, a fairly easy walk with enough hazards to make you think about course management.
Off the course the staff are very friendly and make you very welcome. There were 20 in our party with more than enough good food to go round. Would recommend and we will be returning in the future.

THE COURSE IS IN TIP TOP CONDITION. GREENS ARE SUPERB AND THE FAIRWAYS IMMACULATE. A LOT OF WORK HAS GONE ON ON THE COURSE AND IT SHOWS.

There were only 10 holes open due to bad weather, but a good course. Bunkers and trees located in challenging spots. Quite flat and ideal for a beginner.
