Fantastic little course, some really interesting holes.

It is very hilly though, so be prepared to play a few shots out of breath.

Will be back!

Hilly course in excellent condition

A very hilly course cut through woodland giving far reaching views over some beautiful countryside. The course is tight with some interesting crossovers for the fairways but in excellent condition with the greens fast and true.

First time playing this course today and will certainly return. Some very interesting holes, holes not the longest but the drops and climbs make you think. Great condition and a very picturesque course!

Gorgeous scenic course

Quite simply this is one excellent golf course. The holes aren't the longest, but the climbs and drops, along with tree lined fairways that make sure that the driver can be left in the car, mean that few of the holes are easy pars. The greens and fairways were all in wonderful condition, although there were a number of mats for tees. It's is January, so I guess that's okay.

Standout holes? There are quite a few to choose from, but I am pretty sure that the par 3 8th, which almost needs an elevator to reach, is one that will stick in the memory. The 18th too, with it's two tier fairway, is as pretty as they come.

This is the complete opposite of an easy walking course, so if you have any issues with climbs then make sure that you get a buggy. Your calves will thank you later.

There was an excellent welcome at the pro shop, and the clubhouse has gorgeous views. If there's anything wrong with this club, then I didn't see it.

This course is and always has been a gem. Short, tricky and, in places, plain unique the setting is wonderfully scenic. It is a tough walk, despite not being the longest course.

Up for a Challenge?

Corporate day so I have no idea of prices, but if you're up for a challenge this track will test you, it's hilly and without a course plan you can run into difficulty so look at the maps by the tees.

The course was in great conditions and greens were consistent speed and true.

Food was excellent and all staff and members friendly.
