Hidden gem
Great course very challenging. Plenty of room off the tees but bunkers and rough surrounds the greens.Fairways were so good was like playing off carpet. Greens were ok but unrepaired pitch marks were a problem. Guy in pro shop was rude and miserable

The welcome at the clubhouse and bar was very warm and friendly. The course itself in very good condition.
The holes themselves offered a variety of challenges and meant the round offered steady interst -and enjoyment.
A delightful afternoon.

Winter was Unkind
No problem with aerated greens which played better than expected & will be great. Discounted Green fees appreciated. Views too were very pleasant & a reasonable setting but fairways & rough could do with plenty of care & attention. It was a long drive from London & will probably go to other courses next time in the area. Nice Youngs beer but was told kitchen would be open. It wasn't.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course in the Chiltern Hills
Great deal on a 2-4-1. Chartridge Park has some visually stunning holes and is a real test of stamina. Not a long course, but there are several steep inclines on a lot of holes. Get used to playing the ball either above or below your feet. This tests every aspect of your game. Tight tree-lined fairways and also some with wide open spaces add to the charm of the course. Greens and tee-boxes in okay condition and the fairways are well tended as well. I'd recommend a visit.Reviewer Rating

Short but Challenging
Very wet day so course was a bit boggy in places but the greens stood up really well in these conditions and were a pleasure to putt on.Reviewer Rating

Nice course but hilly !
A very pleasant course - opening few holes pretty tight in terms of holes close to each other but the back 9 opens up. Quite a short course, so I played off the white tees - a few tempting short par 4s - very much \'risk or reward\'.\\As previous reviews have said, this IS a hilly course - changes in elevation, etc make you think about your approach shots. Also, when on fairway, often the ball was above or below your feet.\\Some of the fairways were worn and cracked but then it has been scorchio recently. On the plus side, the greens were great and bunkers filled with fine sand.\\Very friendly club and, even though a bit of a trek for me, I will return ! \\\Reviewer Rating

Lovely Location
I probably didn't see the course at its best, and it looked like it had suffered more than most through the hot summer we've been having. The greens, tees and fairways looked in need of rain, which is a shame as the course layout has lots of positives. The par 3's especially enhanced the experience, and the course itself is in a very scenic location. The course appears to be on the side of a hill, so expect a few climbs and a number of sloping fairways. I have no idea how anyone is supposed to play the 5th hole without it running into the right-hand rough though.
In addition to the pleasant welcome in the pro-shop, there were quite a number of red kites following me around the course.

Hole in one
Well I have now had 2 holes in one where I didn’t see it happen. Spent 5 mins looking for the ball and about to give up when my playing partner pulled out the flag to putt and my ball popped out the hole.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 17.5)
