Gorgeous scenic course

Quite simply this is one excellent golf course. The holes aren't the longest, but the climbs and drops, along with tree lined fairways that make sure that the driver can be left in the car, mean that few of the holes are easy pars. The greens and fairways were all in wonderful condition, although there were a number of mats for tees. It's is January, so I guess that's okay.

Standout holes? There are quite a few to choose from, but I am pretty sure that the par 3 8th, which almost needs an elevator to reach, is one that will stick in the memory. The 18th too, with it's two tier fairway, is as pretty as they come.

This is the complete opposite of an easy walking course, so if you have any issues with climbs then make sure that you get a buggy. Your calves will thank you later.

There was an excellent welcome at the pro shop, and the clubhouse has gorgeous views. If there's anything wrong with this club, then I didn't see it.

Course with a difference

Extremely challenging and unlike any course I've ever played. Carved out of a hill with stunning views.
Only play with a buggy

This course is and always has been a gem. Short, tricky and, in places, plain unique the setting is wonderfully scenic. It is a tough walk, despite not being the longest course.

Fantastic, what a walk

I would highly recommend this course. Other than ,"In my opinion a Micky mouse par 3 8th" the course is really fantastic. I carried my clubs as always but this was a test. Had to pause to get breath on a number of occasions. The staff were really friendly, Sausage and Egg bap on arrival was delicious, mate had full English which made me envious. Go and try!

Lovely little gem. Don't take your driver and make sure you have a clear head before you start.

Up for a Challenge?

Corporate day so I have no idea of prices, but if you're up for a challenge this track will test you, it's hilly and without a course plan you can run into difficulty so look at the maps by the tees.

The course was in great conditions and greens were consistent speed and true.

Food was excellent and all staff and members friendly.

Greens in great condition

Course is looking and playing great but driving range is just an oversized hitting net. Not worth buying range balls for and should have been told before purchasing. Asked for food after are round on a Friday at 5:30pm but kitchen was closed only had cakes for sale.
