O.K.
Played here July , 2020 .Reasonable parkland course but i probably wouldn't be that enthused about playing it again .
Gently undulating in a tranquil setting .Quite wide off the tee with plenty of room & i hadn't played here before but shot just under my handicap so , with the four par fives here as well , i would say you could score well round here .
It was well presented with fairways good to play off & nice condition putting surfaces .
I thought the par threes were underwhelming .
The shortcomings were that i didn't think the greens had been designed that well & the bunkering felt sporadic .The green complexes had a slightly basic feel to them with some of them a bit raised up & with an upturned saucer feel to them & some with just a slope across the whole green & lacking in contouring .The first green was massive but when you stepped onto the par three second tee there was a smallish green in an open area that didn't seem to bear any resemblance to the style of the first green .
The bunkering felt a bit hit & miss .Some holes had no bunkering & some would have just one bunker & nothing else with no consistent theme of bunker placement throughout the course .
So , overall probably worth playing if you haven't played it before as it was well presented with good condition greens but also with some design issues .

Really impressed with the course improvements
I have not played here in approx 1 year and have to compliment the green keepers for the course improvements. The trimming of the lower branches and tops of some of the conifer trees has really enhanced the enjoyment of the course. Now it gives you a chance to get under or over the top after a slightly offline drive, as well as being able to see the flag when approaching the green on the tricky 6th and 7th holes. The bunkers were immaculate, perfectly raked with no stones, plenty of sand and great consistency. With so many courses going backwards with little or no investment, it's great to see a club where money has clearly been spent on improvements and my head has certainly been turned from this visit and joining up as a member next year is definitely on the cards now. Staff as always are welcoming and engaging, asking for feedback on the course and how we got on.Reviewer Rating

Excellent value, but spoiled by rough
Played here a few times and always good value. However, at present, they have grown the rough far too long. With the ground so hard, the ball isn't stopping, so any form of wayward drive finds rough so deep that you simply cannot find the ball. This makes for a very frustrating round, with constant reloads just in case. This rather spoilt the afternoon.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 18.1)

Newish course - excellent even running greens and a friendly bar
Course was built about 20 years ago and is still maturing. Good facilities with a decent range, a good chipping and pitching practice area and a practice green that rolls the same as the on course greens. Has a decent layout though the 1st, 9th and 10th are a bit same same and the least interesting holes. The rest of the course is much more inspired with some decent layouts that require a well placed drive and an accurate second. Hole 13 (Si 1) is outstanding and one of the prettiest holes around. Anyway, a good test of golf and friendly staff - well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Worth an alternate to Milton Keynes courses
Nice course, fairways well looked after. Some tee boxes could be better and many of the greens a bit disappointing, but overall a nice course(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 20)
