Excellent course. Teed off early - 7.15am - empty. Great game. Won on 18th green with last putt!

Excellent club, Plenty of interesting holes, a couple of really tough ones. Course in good condition for the time of the year. Good value for money

Great course to play. Snow on the mountain tops. No rush as course not busy.

Challenging course with great views. Some holes very unusual. Rarely very busy. Well worth a visit. Clubhouse serves great food.

This course is a must, but keep on the fairways, any stray shots and it will be costly. the par 3 15th is a fantastic hole. All the greens were in excellent order. Not overly difficult so a good course for the average player. Course very open so big battle with the wind, but views are lovely.

This is a fabulous course and club. The staff are wonderful, the food is really good value and the course......very well designed and in amazing condition all year round. The greens are amazing (and I am a member of Royal Birkdale), true and with reliable pacing.
There are challenging holes and open wide areas and so suitable for all abilities, the Bell Hole will tempt you to draw it in form over a bubbling brook!
You really should try it and there is a wonderful self catering place on the course called cuckoo's Nest (not sure why!) which has reduced green fees.

This is a very quirky course,sheep roam the fairways and the greens are fenced in.
I enjoyed this course in fantastic Lake District scenery,rolling hills in the background.
The course is very windy and dry all year round.
