What The Club Says
The Club was founded in 1906 and has occupied numerous sites over the years. The course is being expaned to full 18 hole par 70, 5800 yds, sss 70 course with completion due in Summer 2012. The Course comprises 132 acres of parkland, high meadow and pasture land.
Alston Moor Golf Club is undoubtedly the highest golf course in England and possibly the United Kingdom. At 1476' above sea level and situated 15 miles south of the Roman Wall and located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers spectacular views of the North Pennines.
