the most wonderful setting for golf, greens are average and fairways ok but not when wet! The course never closes and can get very waterlogged, however its friendlyness will not be matched anywhere and the scenery is amazing! My 6 year old son was welcomed with open arms and we had a fabulous days golfing! If your a golf purist then please take Alston as what it is, a rare treat but not perfect. We will return thank you!

I thought this was very very challenging! Especially as it was very very wet not only raiingin but for a few holes the fairway was almost marshland! I do recommend on a dry day, the views are fabulous!
