Amazing Course in Fantastic Condition

We headed to Allendale GC and the first thing that gets you is the views, everywhere you look is amazing! We had probably the best day of the year so far with clear skies and sunshine! The course is a real challenge, questioning your club selection and course management to ensure a good score. A must play course and one we will definitely revisit!

Superbly remote. On a windless Monday morning with the sun rising over Hadrians Wall there can't be many better places to play golf. I'd imagine with a screaming wind into your face bringing in low cloud and driving rain it feels a little different. Wonderfully basic with some tricky holes.

A very pleasant experience playing here. Views are great and those we met at the course we're very friendly. The course is an expanded 9 holer which means some sharing of greens and a very short course. The fairways were really good but the greens left something to be desired. Although lacking some space the course has more than its fair share of interesting and good holes. At £15 for a round or a day ticket it's good value for money and a very enjoyable challenge for the bog standard player.
