What The Club Says
A traditional parkland course on fast draining land on the south side of the River Tyne, Hexham Golf Club is a tough enough test of golf to regularly host County events, yet at 6,312 from the medal tees it is enjoyable for club golfers of all standards. The greens are regularly amongst the best in the County, and the views over the confluence of the North and South Tyne and surrounding countryside are stunning.

Great little course, lovely clubhouse, good layout
For a 30 pound course this is lovely. Some areas around the greens were a bit rough but its April and they will improve. Lush fairways with OK greens. I would definitely return in the summer months. Good service in the clubhouse and some lovely foot.Reviewer Rating

Must play!
Lovely golf course, which I've wanted to play for some time, and I wasn't disappointed. Great elevations, great views and quite tight, with some long par fours. Well worth playing and will try to come back in the summer. Play was a bit slow, but there was a society competition in front of us, so shots were all counting. Still round in just over 4 hours though, which isn't bad, when there are four balls in front in a comp.Reviewer Rating

Superb course with great views
Great course with very friendly staff and the pace of play was exactly what is needed these days. Will be back(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 17.6)
