Hexham is one of my favourite courses in the area, with sculpted fairways, numerous mature trees and views over the Tyne Valley. A real gem and great value at £22.50 per day using 2 fore 1 vouchers.

Must play!
Lovely golf course, which I've wanted to play for some time, and I wasn't disappointed. Great elevations, great views and quite tight, with some long par fours. Well worth playing and will try to come back in the summer. Play was a bit slow, but there was a society competition in front of us, so shots were all counting. Still round in just over 4 hours though, which isn't bad, when there are four balls in front in a comp.Reviewer Rating

Tough and hilly course with very tricky slopping bunkers and slow greens. Hole 3 is the most difficult by far (ignore the daft stroke index of 3).

Course looking fantastic yesterday. Great greens, beautifully kept fairways, some challenging holes but immensely enjoyable followed by some nice food and a sit outside at the tables in the sunshine overlooking the 18th green.
