Lovely parkland course with some tricky holes and testing greens. No par 5s but some long a difficult par 4s. Greens were in great condition, as was the whole course. Great value for money for £11 or £6.80 for twilight.

Played the 9 hole course, great little course for beginners, it could do with a few bunkers just to make the course a little bit tougher, its a nice course to play just hoping Liverpool council dont decide to sell the course

A great course to learn on! Well kept and open enough to be forgiving when you hit those bad shots. Very cheap and as a result you can sometimes have a bit of a wait as the course can get very busy. The pins and tee locations are moved frequently ensuring different levels of challenge. Something for eveyone here.

Average course especially since it has being getting changed. Tees and greens below average. Fairways not good. If you have mobility issues not the place to play even though they do have buggies as the green keeper rarely lets these out for reasons only known to him. Very unfriendly to players with mobility problems all fuelled by one man;

Allerton Manor Congestion
Booked 2 ball 16.40hrs took 2 1/2hours to play 9 holes , finished at 19.05 waited 20 minutes on every tee box which is ridiculous.The booking system needs looking at don't just take as many bookings as you can think about punters experience.
We were behind children learning in a four ball with parents etc which I understand on a municipal course but spread the bookings .
Will consider before doing this again

Good for a practice
Good course for a practice. If you are a seasoned golfer you may find it a little too easy, and tedious with the rest of us amateurs. But I certainly had a great round and would recommend.Reviewer Rating
