Really Poor Value
14 holes open. New holes will be great in a couple of years but the fairways absolutely shocking at the minute. Its essentially type 2 MOT mixed with dust. \\£ 30 quid for 14 holes with the new holes in terrible condition is borderline extortion. It should be £ 20 max until the full 18 are open. \\The other issue is if you are paying premium prices for a 14 hole course at least have some type of dress code and bins on course. There were lads playing in Nike tracksuits and trainers and bottles of beers left on the tee box. \\Will be a nice course in a couple of years but for now i wouldnt play again for 30 quid and maybe not even for 20.Reviewer Rating

Poor course at the moment
There is an awful lot of work going on at Allerton Manor course at the moment. In 2 years or so it will I believe be a fine course. However at £25 for 14 holes currently it is the most expensive course per hole in South Liverpool. The current layout is confusing with long walks from Green to the next tee. I understand this is a big commitment for the owners but asking guests to pay an unreasonable fee for a short, muddy and ill prepared course is not on. If you are thinking of visiting delay your visit till 2026.Reviewer Rating

Great course - better signage please
Relatively new golfer so have only played the 9 holes preciously. Extra 5 holes open now making it 14. £13.50 to £25 is a big jump. However, cracking extra holes (I found them quite difficult with tricky greens). I think the signage needs to be a bit better. For example, wasn't obvious where to take your trolley from 13th green to 14th tee. Overall, very good though ????Reviewer Rating

Average course especially since it has being getting changed. Tees and greens below average. Fairways not good. If you have mobility issues not the place to play even though they do have buggies as the green keeper rarely lets these out for reasons only known to him. Very unfriendly to players with mobility problems all fuelled by one man;

Allerton Manor Congestion
Booked 2 ball 16.40hrs took 2 1/2hours to play 9 holes , finished at 19.05 waited 20 minutes on every tee box which is ridiculous.The booking system needs looking at don't just take as many bookings as you can think about punters experience.
We were behind children learning in a four ball with parents etc which I understand on a municipal course but spread the bookings .
Will consider before doing this again

Good for a practice
Good course for a practice. If you are a seasoned golfer you may find it a little too easy, and tedious with the rest of us amateurs. But I certainly had a great round and would recommend.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course with great facilities. At present,there’s lots of course improvements being made reducing it to a 9 hole course. My main compliant is a lack of a marshal on the first tee. Turned up 5 minutes before my allotted tee off to find 4 groups ahead of us. 30 minutes later we tee’d off following a group of FIVE !!I’d travelled up from the Midlands to have 18 holes with my brother but gave up after 9. I reiterate,it’s a great course and green fees are cheap and it was a Saturday but tee times need to be adhered to.
