Lovely downland course
A lovely downland course with interesting holes. Quite hilly with some sloping fairways so important to place your shots in the right place. Greens true.pleasant environment and friendly staff throughout.Reviewer Rating

Frustrating
Played course for first time and found fairways and greens to beIn very good condition
Greens in particular were very well maintained
Only criticism I have to make is that holes were not numbered and directions to each tee
was non existent
Had to ask others players where to go
Apart from this an enjoyable experience.m

Great course
We decided to look for somewhere new. The Surrey National was suggested and we were not disappointed. 18 holes with great variety and set in some beautiful countryside. The tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition, particularly as this was the middle of February. There is plenty of parking and an attractive bar with friendly staff. The only issue to point out is its a hilly course. If you are fit, its fine and the slopes add interest to the holes. Some of the trolley paths are also rough - and steep, including getting into the clubhouse!Reviewer Rating

Three hours and ten minutes to play 11 holes. At that point, we gave up, as we didn’t want to be any further from the club house and the holes in front of us were backed up.
We put a call into the clubhouse on the 8th, but the situation got worse after that. ‘A society’ the excuse - come on.
It doesn’t take five hours to play a round of golf, if the tee times were properly spaced out and the course marshalled.
Had a nightmare here before on a Saturday & will avoid in the future.
I did raise this with the club shop afterwards and their kind offer was a voucher for 18 holes anytime midweek for…..the next month. Thanks but no thanks

Horrible members
Nice course and good price. Few of the members were a pain and spoiled the day.A few high fives to celebrate a 20ft birdie putt were apparently too loud and caused a member who was about 100 yards away to start shouting at us to be quiet. Dont think he realised how ironic this was.
Other members were cutting across holes, pushing in front at the bar too.
In all the members are trolls.
