Stayed here for a three day golf weekend.The log cabins were really nice, clean and well designed.The course was in good condition and challenging, really good weekend.

Despite the changeable weather a thoroughly enjoyable round at one of our "go to" courses. Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday afternoon in October. Course in good nick despite the recent inclement weather and at £14 a round as preferred member a real snip. Managed to put a decent score together which was pleasing in the conditions. Will certainly play here again.

A really nice set up. Played woodland/Lakeland, nice contrast between the two sets of 9 holes. Woodland tight and a bit tricky if you're not straight. Lakeland was a bit more forgiving. Course in good condition, a real pleasure to play

Excellent Course
We played this club during a 2 night/3 round stay.The greens were probably the best I’ve played on in this country. We played on the day of the club championships and came across some brilliant pin positions. There was interesting holes on all three of the nines. Only downside was a five and a half hour round on the Monday, caused by a visiting society/group. The course does need a marshall. Bunkers were out of play due to recent heavy rain damage, but this didn’t really detract from our enjoyment.

I’ve visited Dorset Golf and Country Club a few times and have always had a really good time. With three loops of nine to choose from it's very easy to spend a pleasant day there. Courses are always a challenge, the hospitality is great.

Great venue
Course us a very interesting layout , played last Friday ( oct 2021) it had rained non stop through the night - but we found the course and greens in particular to be in great condition. Food and beverage inside excellent and very friendly staff - we were travelling Dorset in our camper playing golf - this place well worth a visitReviewer Rating

Good course worth visiting
Fairly open course, so forgiving. In very good condition and most enjoyable. It was quite a slow round with 4-ball games ahead, and I have had this before on a number of occasions here. Greens good but disappointed that golfers ahead hadn't been repairing pitch marks. Bunkers are many! And bunger sand fairly poor and having to play off very compacted surface. There's a fair amount of walking between holes, but 3 separate 9-holes to play.Reviewer Rating

Great venue
Had a 2 night 3 round stay in a lodge. The facilities are superb and the courses interesting. The greens were huge and very tricky with so many slopes but all were in great condition. The courses were challenging with various obstacles and many bunkers. The rough was a challenge and ditches in awkward spots as well as trees. Most greens were heavily protected by bunkers but these were the only let down and need more work plus sand in them as very compacted. Food and service were great with friendly staff. Would highly recommend going there. 3 different 9?s so played all twice. The lodge we stayed in was huge and well equipped including a saunaReviewer Rating

Nice course

Worth a visit

Mid week round was very quiet due to there being nobody staying at the resort.The course is in good condition but a little bare in places.

fantastic course
Been coming hear for a few years now. Always a challenge with so many bunkers but a great course. The food is excellent and although I played awful I still love this course(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 12.3)

Fair but demanding course. Distance off the tee an advantage as some bunkers are positioned in the general areas of the mortal man golfer landing areas !

Woodland course is very tight very challenging, parkland more open. Both courses have well protected greens numerous bunkers.
