Very wet, some courses might not have even been open today!!! most of the bunkers were full of water so we didn't bother to play them. Having said that well done to the green keeping staff for keeping all the tees and greens open.

Found course to be very soft/damp underfoot which was a surprise. Holes are varied but not especially interesting. Very good shop and friendly staff. Didn't stop for a drink, but maybe next time. Due to high visitor/tourist numbers it can be a bit of hassle to book a last minute tee time over the phone - found the Tee Off Times app easier.

The course has suffered from the recent wet weather and the greens had been heavily dressed with everything covered in greeny blue dye which was a pain. Having said that £20 for 18 holes plus a bacon baguette and a cuppa was good value.

Wet and windy afternoon which is never good news at my level!!! Most o the bunkers were full of water and the rest were unplayable which is never good. We have a preferred membership so only paid £14.00 for the round. don't think we would have been too cuffed if we had paid the full green fee.

Played today, it was a nice course, however it was really boggy, would be a good course during the summer months

Had a really enjoyable round on this well laid out course. Played the Lakeland/Parkland combination with a mixed ability three ball and found that the layout provided challenges for both the beginner and the bigger hitting more experienced golfer. The standard green fee of £40 would make it fairly pricey but managed to negotiate £60 for the three of us when booking by 'phone which made it excellent value. A thoroughly enjoyable day, would definitely play again.
