EuroPro Tour Announces Return of Q School

By: | Thu 22 Jul 2021

The long-awaited return of EuroPro Tour Q School has finally been announced, with the access event taking place throughout September and October 2021.

The competition will warrant access to the developmental circuit and will offer 25 cards for those who are ready to break onto the next level.

The First Stage Qualifying will take place across five venues from the 28-30 September, with the Final Stage being hosted in Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa. This will take place during 14-16 October.

There are five venues that will play host to the First Stage, and those are: Studley Wood Golf Club, Clevedon Golf Club, Longhirst Hall Golf Club, Formby Hall Golf Club and Mannings Heath Golf and Wine Estate.

EuroPro CEO Daniel Godding is excited that the Tour will finally open its doors again. “The talent on show during this season is off the charts and we only anticipate that to grow further in 2022. There’s a real opportunity for players out there to learn about everything it takes to move up the levels.

“It’s a true development experience whether that be from playing longer tournaments or excellent media training we offer through broadcasting to over 500 million homes across the globe.”

The PGA EuroPro Tour offers direct access to the European Challenge Tour and players will contend for five cards that will be awarded to those who finish in the top five of the seasonal Order of Merit.

There will be a prize fund of over €1 million throughout the 2021 season and the Tour typically offers the greatest source of revenue away from the Challenge and European circuits.

The EuroPro Tour has a seriously impressive list of alumni who have gone on to achieve incredible things amongst the two premium tours.

Tyrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Nicolas Colsaerts, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, Aaron Rai, Marcus Armitage, Jordan Smith and many more have earned their way through the competitive EuroPro Tour.
