What the club says: Superbly located in 500 acres of rolling Sussex downland, Mannings Heath has two championship courses at the forefront of ‘must play’ golf hot-spots in the UK.
The Waterfall Course - was established in 1905 and is the jewel in the crown of Sussex golf. Set amongst acres of mature deciduous woodland and streams with patchwork fairways.
The Kingfisher Course - Opened in 1996, the beautiful par 70 Kingfisher Course is set in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and offers breathtaking panoramic views over the tree tops and across the South Downs.

Challenging but very beautiful cour
Played at this course for the first time following Covid-19 lockdown. It's December after a full day heavy rain, not surprised it's muddy and greens are slow, but really love this course. I would love to come back in the summer.(Round played: Dec 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 15.6)

Fantastic course which seems hidden away
This is a really fantastic course which was in superb condition. A delight to play and with wonderful landscape. The club house welcome and service was superb. The welcome started from the phone call to book with Laila till the drinks in the wonderful terrace.(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 10.4)

Shocking
First time of playing there and was really looking forward to it, ?65 for the round and thought I was going to be playing a top notch golf course, but it was far from that. Greens and tees were in good condition, but the fairways were in such a bad state that they had members out trying to repair the massive amount of turf pulled from the aerating machine on a large number of fairways. ?65 was not well spent on a course that should not be open

Great Course
Well worth a visit.Green are fast and slick and a good challenge.
Good facilities and friendly club house

Nice Course, Good Price and Friendly
Played my first 9 at Kingfisher Enjoyed it. Nice course. Good variation on the holes. No water holes, a few bunkers and quite scenic.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 73 Handicap: )

Great track
Really enjoyed this course. Great condition, challenging but fair. Some really stunning scenery on the way round too.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 84 Handicap: 14.2)

Nice course with some shortfalls
Played the Waterfall this week. Thought the layout was superb with 2 excellent Par 3's and some very good Par 4's. Bunkers were well maintained. Didnt think the greens were that great though and tee boxes were poor. Course is quite punishing if you do not hit straight tee shots. Would play it again but other courses around locally of equal quality at better cost.

Great course in great condition
1pm tee on a Saturday - a few on the course but not pressure from behind. Course is in fabulous condition. We've had a bit of rain recently so greens a little slower than usual and took a little time to dial into.

Great course, great hospitality
Our society played Mannings waterfall course on 16th September. It was in excellent condition. It favours the draw and elevated greens mean one or two more clubs. Greens were superb. The staff and management were really welcoming and the service food were really good, ditto the club house. Handicaps from 17 to 28 all scored between 29 and 36 (yellow tees) so a very fair test if you kept it on the fairways that were generally wide. A most enjoyable day at a highly recommended venue.

Blue purple matchplay event
Lovely looking course, decent food, decent value, excellent staff especially wendy and annabel behind the bar. Shame the greens were in need of some love.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 0 Handicap: )

Underwhelmed given reputation
Some nice holes but fairways were in need of attention and greens very inconsistent. Had the feel of a 'public course'. Better value at other local courses.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 98 Handicap: 24)

A course that will not disappoint
Sweetwoods is an attractive course with a mix of holes creating an interesting and picturesque setting for all players to have fun. The staff are great and with a creative chef in the kitchen the food will bring a smile. One not to miss if your in the area. Just pop in for lunch and see for yourself.

Great Course, worth a visit
Fantastic facilities, great friendly staff, nice pro shop
