The Shire London Unveils Winter Golf Experience

The Shire London has revealed its attractive and great value winter packages to enjoy the excellent conditions of its signature Seve Ballesteros designed course, which features in Golfshake's 50 Best Golf Courses to Play in Winter.

With its close proximity to London, The Shire London offers a fantastic place to host clients or friends over the winter, with the added benefit of no temporary greens thanks to the Bridgedown Group’s investment into the golf course. The Shire London has undergone several recent enhancements in collaboration with the globally renowned golf course architecture specialists, Dye Designs to cement its place as one of the finest courses in England and is now one of the only to use Pure Distinction Bentgrass, used on some of the finest and most respected golf courses in the world. This uniquely bright green grass has exceptionally strong resistance to disease, extreme temperature changes and general wear, greatly improving year-round condition.

The Seve designed course offers a fantastic test for all golfers with a variety stunning holes, culminating in the dramatic par 5 18^th, with the clearest Seve stamp of all – a green protected by an S shape lake. With no consecutive holes the same par, The Shire London provides an enjoyable yet challenging experience.

Valid from 1^st November 2019 until 1^st March 2020, Winter Golf days start from just £55 per person, Monday-Friday, and includes tea/coffee and a bacon roll, followed by 18 holes and a delicious one-course meal.
