Improving all the time. Current dry conditions a challenge. Course is on the well drained chalk north downs.

Good draining course
Great views from the course and definitely some challenging holes particularly around the quarry 13,14 & 15, greens have markedly improved since last time I played here (6 weeks ago) although there are still a couple needs some work.Reviewer Rating

challenging par 69
basic course with some challenging holes with right to left and left to right par 5's. Greens average to poor. Fairways need mowing but lack of rain may justify leaving grass long.Portacabin club house with no practise facilities. However, costs are below average

fluffy-ids greens but i accept that for the time of year. Key bug bear is the bunkers - other golfers seem to lack the etiquette to rake them. Be prepared for your ball to come to rest in a footprint. Not the fault of the club, but outlines the risk of being a pay and play course.

Great little course
I play this a lot. As its built on chalk the fairways are dry, run well. No claggy mud.Bit rough round the edges but a great layout. Bit windy even on a calm day!

Little in the way of facilities outside the course, but the layout and style of course is good. Really wish others playing the course would follow etiquette like raking bunkers, but this is a small price to pay for an accessible public course.
