What the club says: Set in 170 acres of prime Surrey parkland, the 6485 yard par 72 golf course utilises the natural undulations of the terrain and, whilst not flat, there are no 'cardiac' hills. Several existing and some man-made lakes and strategically placed bunkers ensure that Clandon Regis is a good test of golf for players of all abilities.

Top Surrey course
What a wonderful course ! Played it in July '24 and every hole was a delight. I would highly recomend this course to anyone without reservation. Great fairways, great greens, great design. Sadly the bunkers - though a visual delight weren't great. I'll be back.Reviewer Rating

Friendly club, nice course
As a relatively new member I was encouraged to join by several other lady members who are friends. I haven’t regretted my decision. This justifiably deserves its reputation as Surrey’s friendliest club. Everyone from the members, pros, bar staff and office team are welcoming and friendly. It’s a lovely course to play, although it does struggle a bit in the recent very wet weather. Lots of fun matches and a good social calendar. Good pro shop and a welcoming bar area with a good selection of food.Reviewer Rating

A hidden gem
I’ve recently joined this club after a trial round. It’s a lovely track in the Summer, with fine views of the Surrey Downs from the higher parts of the course. The course is not overly long, although there are a couple of long tough par 4s that will test even the big hitters. The course is tree-lined but not so narrow as to be overly punishing. But stray too far off line and you will get punished. The front 9 requires accurate placement of your tee shots and approaches to score well. You can’t grip it and rip it here.
The back 9 is more open but with water coming into play on some holes, again you cannot take too many liberties. The par 3 11th and par 4 14th are superb, requiring approaches to be hit over water - not for the faint hearted!
As others have said, the greens are superb: fast, true and beautifully maintained.
The staff and members are friendly and welcoming and while the clubhouse is a bit basic, it’s comfortable and has all the facilities you would need All in all, Clandon Regis is a hidden gem that deserves to be better known.

One of my favourites, course was in great condition and pins placed in fairly tough locations for our society. Would love to play the course off the members tees. Always made to feel very welcomed.Reviewer Rating

Well worth a round.
Clandon Regis GC has been improving over the years. Built on clay it can be soggy in the winter but comes into its own at this time of year with excellent greens ,improving bunkers and good fairways though these are beginning to look a little parched now. At ?40 as a guest visitor it is relatively pricey especially as a round can be a third of that price at Clandon Golf 2 miles away!Reviewer Rating

Very enjoyable 18 holes at Clandon Regis. I've recently joined and the course is in excellent condition. The social distancing measures don't detract from the enjoyment there at all and the course provides a good test.Reviewer Rating

One of the best in Surrey
Clandon Regis G.C. consistently punches above it's weight in terms of course quality - even in the depth of winter there are no temporary greens, greens quality is excellent and the course layout ensures a fair but challenging experienceReviewer Rating
