Lovely course
Played 17th Feb after two months of continuous rain ; course was in great condition ; quite dry underfoot, no mud. Not a long course but lots of variety and with quite challenging greens. A lovely day out.Reviewer Rating

Felt the person in the Pro Shop wasn’t overly welcoming and didn’t provide a good first impression.
Arriving on to the first tee, we were impressed with the standard of the tee area, wide and in good condition.
Moving along the course and approaching the green, our buggy came to a grinding halt. Not knowing where the 2nd tee was and no signposts to direct buggies (this is a common issue throughout the course), we had ventured into the geofence area which wasn’t explained to us whatsoever.
The greens were in good condition, some were way slower than others, but most were very quick. The greens and the courses overall condition was the most positive aspects of the club, albeit some bare patches in the fairways here or there. The bunkers were really poor, with barely any sand in the ones I went in, with one practically like playing the shot off concrete.
Course layout is pretty decent if you know where you’re going, but for newcomers, signage is a must. Especially those in buggies, it’s hard to know where the buggy path is, or which one to take for your particular hole.
Overall, we were not that impressed with the experience of the course, and again wouldn’t return. Our view was this is definitely not worth the £60 fee per round we paid.

Nice variation but busy
Some very nice holes with lots of challenge and well maintained throughout. However spacing and pace of play was poor, constant wait with people behind as well. Also an insane amount of dog walkers, runners and bikers to add to that.
However very nice golf course with good practice facilities would play again but maybe different tee time.

Nice hidden gem
Pretty hilly in places, a short course but a good challenge. Some tough part3 holes and a couple of really challenging par 4s. The course was very firm and bouncy, which presented a real challenge on approach shots. In nice condition, with true greens. Pace of play was a bit slow but the members I joined for the last couple of holes were very friendly and helpful.
