No bad, greens had recently been sanded and a lot of bunkers having major work leading to gur

New Milford Layout
The new Milford layout is worth a look if you've not played it yet. The holes over the road have been closed and four new holes created. Milford isn't a long course but the rough ad bunkers can provide a test. The greens were very good when we played. Due to Covid no facilities other than the course were open.Reviewer Rating

I played 36 holes in the Guildford open. 19th sept.
I thought the course was well set up but maybe the greens could have had another weeks rest from recent works to be very nice, but rolled well all the same! The food was good for lunch but the carvery needed a upgrading to be spot on. The competition was well run by the staff and the captain was a nice guy too!
I thought a few players should remember that you need to wear jacket and tie for dinner also. All in all a very good day, thank you Guildford, great value for money..

Greens had all been recently cored and sanded - a bit late in the season?- giving a very uneven / slow putting surface - a shame because otherwise a nice course.

guildford round
nice round, weather was goodirons were ok, driver was good hut short game let me down.

Really nice
Played with two friends on a Friday afternoon. Pro shop really helpful - we weren't sure whether to play as the heavens opened just before we arrived but we had booked a tee time. Course quite dry considering incessant rain for weeks. Quite quiet. Simple but tasty food in club house. Recommended.Reviewer Rating

Challenge with great views
Challenging course with holes that go up and down the valley sides. On common land so have to watch out for pedestrians and dog walkers. Playing regularly would certainly keep you fit. Good clubhouse with helpful staff. Difficult to access on the edge of the city, journey to and from the course impeded by city traffic. Bar prices reflect Surrey location.Reviewer Rating

Good course. Shame no food after 4pm. Seemed a easy win when club was full.Staff seemed inexpwrienced in the bar.

Here on a society day. Hadn't played here for a while. Course was in good condition and greens rolled well. Fairly open course with sensible rough. Friendly welcome from the club and nice meal post round.
