Great Value
Great value at £10 for my afternoon nine. Good condition fairways and greens. No thrills, no water but great views and friendly atmosphere.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful views and interesting course
Really enjoyable. Course is always dry on the chalk downs with fantastic views north. Some interesting holes. Basic club facilities but they do a great bacon bap!Reviewer Rating

Excellent
Course is very dry. Great views spanning miles of countryside. Great holes around the quarry. Plays like a links, if there's 20mph of wind it is tough. Par 3s no pushover, greens fast; very enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Gem
What a great public course, chalk based so drains well. Lovely to play. Apparently the views are amazing, but it was so misty we couldn't see, but it doesn't take away how good this little course is. Cheap to play and worth having a go, will be back for sure.Reviewer Rating

Great
The course has a new head green keeper now for 3 months and it really shows especially on the greens. Always friendly when you arrive.Reviewer Rating

Very good course
Because of it's geographical situation, and the fact that the course is over chalk, Clandon obviously drains well. The course on 19th had only two very small squelchy patches, both easily avoided, and this at the start of winter compared to some other courses which, in my opinion, are no more than quagmires (in golfing terms anyway). The ground is therefore practically dry at any time of the year. It's a good testing course (5660 yds), especially with the quarry to get over on the 15th. The reason for 'Fair' below against 'Club & Facilities' is that Clandon only has portakabin facilities, but even that is run well and certainly doesn't affect one's enjoyment of the round.Reviewer Rating

Great Course!
What an excellent course! Forget the limitations of the clubhouse, this course is a hidden gem! If you're looking for a challenging course with a bit of forgiveness then this is the one for you. My friend and I are a 22 and 24 HC respectively and found it most enjoyable, great value after 2pm and easily accessible from the A3. We will definitely visit again real soon.Reviewer Rating
