good VFM
Shortish open course and unlikely to lose your ball. Let down at the moment by the poor greens. The mixing of two balls and four balls can mean if you are the latter that your round gets longer and longer as you let the two-balls through.Reviewer Rating

Great Value
Great value at £10 for my afternoon nine. Good condition fairways and greens. No thrills, no water but great views and friendly atmosphere.Reviewer Rating

good option
Given the heavy rain, decided to play Clandon as it drains very well and we were rewarded with very good conditions considering. Greens a bit bumpy but otherwise couldn't complain.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 96 Handicap: 16.4)

Beautiful views and interesting course
Really enjoyable. Course is always dry on the chalk downs with fantastic views north. Some interesting holes. Basic club facilities but they do a great bacon bap!Reviewer Rating

Very good in winter
Very good course considering the time of year. Not boggy whatsoever. Had a really nice round. Just a shame there is no practice facilities or clubhouse(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 108 Handicap: 0)

Excellent
Course is very dry. Great views spanning miles of countryside. Great holes around the quarry. Plays like a links, if there's 20mph of wind it is tough. Par 3s no pushover, greens fast; very enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Mixed day
The weather was pretty atrocious with heavy rain and some strong breeze. That said, the location of the course allows it to remain largely dry underfoot and the greens were for the most part slow but true. A shame that the wildlife have taken to digging up tee boxes and the edges of some greens. If it weren't for that, you will be hard pressed to beat value for money.Repeating gripe (and not necessarily the clubs fault) - other players seem incapable of raking the bunkers after paying a visit. Expect to find a crater or similar awkward lie if you get caught.
