Greens and tee boxes were terrible, as poor as I have seen in a while. You can tell it has had a summers worth of abuse and needs a fair bit of work to get it back up to standard. BUT to be fair, normally the course is in a lot better condition than today

Course design is good but few traps and very busy. Got stuck behind a slow 4 ball who didnt at any stage allow 2 of us to play through. Stood around for long time at tees and fairways. The group in front didnt put the flags back properly and on one hole didnt even put the flag in at all, just left it lying flat on the green. - tee boxes were dry as gandi's flip flops and in poor condition, and several were angled or on slopes. Greens were ok and enjoyed the layout of the course.

Good course for irregular golfers, not challenging enough for single figure golfers.

They don't cut the rough anywhere near often enough. I've played it five times now and its been in good condition once.

Sort of a "Nice face, shame about the legs ...", very good ancillary facilities with clubhouse, shop , range etc, not the most stimulating track although the wind can help the challenge, greens are very poor, dread to think what they are like in the summer.

Cheap and cheerful. Can get busy. Greens often shown signs of wear. Used to be cheap as chips for twilight but at just under £10 now you can get a lot better for not too much more. Wouldn't pay more.

Will be back

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Surrey, The Oaks Golf Centre offers an exhilarating mix of challenge and charm. My first experience on its greens was a rollercoaster of emotions, marked by moments of brilliance and unexpected blunders. The course's layout, with its undulating fairways and strategically placed hazards, tested my skills to the limit. Despite some shockingly bad shots, the impeccable course maintenance and scenic surroundings provided a welcome distraction. The friendly atmosphere and helpful staff added to the overall enjoyment of the day. The Oaks Golf Centre is a must-visit for both seasoned golfers and newcomers seeking a memorable round.

Needs a bit of TLC

You can tell a lot about what you might expect from a course when you walk to the first tee. It was a bit scruffy. I know it’s a difficult time of the year (October) for greenkeepers, but first impressions……\Fairways were OK. Greens, and this is no fault of the greenkeepers, had more pitch marks than I have seen on any course for a long time.\They were interesting greens with some interesting borrows. The ninth green (par 3) the pin position was insane.\Clubhouse OK.\Practice putting green astroturf so not really useful!\I played reasonably well but would not rush back.
