Well kept

Greens good and fairways well kept
Only thing was mats on every tee.
Nice club house and all very friendly

Shame about the 18 mats

Played a few winter rounds, but first course to have 18 winter tee mats.
Would have thought some rotation with grass tees possible

Decent

Had been raining all week and the course played very well for this time of the year. Not many mate mostly par 3s that were. Greens were great and whoever pissed off the green keepers, thank you. Some of those pins were ridiculous hahaha

Good value for money.

Course was in good condition even with the onslaught of autumn. Being retired we liked the reduction for 'mature golfers ?(their words not mine) and the fact that they had a membership category for people who only wanted to play in the afternoon. What an excellent idea. The only downside at the moment is the bar closes at 16:30, so if you tee off any time after 12:30, you can't use the clubhouse or get a beer.

great gold course

Lovely little course

Value for money is exceptional. Not the longest course but it is wonderfully maintained. The green could rival much more prestigious clubs.

Local lad

Great as always beautiful condition greens a little bumpy but fast, staff and welcome was great felt at home .. very busy on the day we played and got but whole place looked perfect for the price we payed

Post lockdown not as good as it was

Played here numerous times, as has good drainage and good course for a medium/ high handicapper, but on last visit was disappointed with the state of the greens. Appreciate challenges faced by all courses during lockdown(s) but other local courses are in a much better condition
