Played this course in february with our society. Even after all the rain the course played really well. No temp greens or tees. A lovely laid out course with some spectacular holes. The food was great, the staff were great. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

My usual course was closed due to the volume of rain, so I played this course as a substitute. Wow - I was not expecting such a decent course and overall great place to play Golf. The staff were fantastic including Matt and Dan (Pro). I will be returning with some of my friends who are members at other courses locally - I think Mansfield will make them think twice about rejoining their own clubs!! Can't wait to play it in the summer.

Play this course regular, always open and greens good. Every hole is different with some tricky fairways. They have a well stocked shop with very friendly staff and exellent under cover driving range. Restaurant serves a good variety of excellent food.

Played on the 10th jan 2014- Course very good nick for the time of year and how much rain we have had. friendly staff in pro shop spoken to a young lad on return about membership prices and deals very good will be coming back soon.

played 8th october. Played course for the first time after hearing it as improved a lot, which i can truly agree. Use the driving range regular which is great golf balls all 100% 2 piece with decent mats, undercover and floodlit.
Shop is very well stocked selling all the top brands which you can try out on the driving range.
Had a lesson with Daniel the professional who has helped my game immensely, recommend him to anyone.
all in all i enjoy my time up there and would happily play the golf course again.

Very enjoyable course, weather was not on our side today but course played brilliant, very enjoyable. Great driving range warm up on too. Had a meal afterwards which I can honestly say is one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time at any golf club or restaurant.

Sept 2013. Played course great value for money layout excellent all 18 holes indidual no crossing fairways.views superb good day out, food outstanding value staff very helpful £13 green fee brilliant value.

Played the course yesterday. Arrived at the golf club to be greeted by very welcoming staff. Was interested in some Ping irons and the Professional was very helpful with the advice he gave me and quoted me the best price iv received.
After playing the golf course I was a little bit unsure if I'd like it or not due to the reputation it use to have with the previous owners BUT I must say how it surprised me and how much I enjoyed the course, it's one of the most picturesque golf courses iv played, greens were good, fairways were all cut neat bunkers full of good sand and well maintained, big flat teeing areas and every hole is different and you really feel you are playing every hole individually. All this for £13 was an absolute bargain!!
Got back to the clubhouses sat outside having a beer watching my children play on the crazy golf course.
All in all very enjoyable day!

Good Value for money course, obviously not going to be in the same league as its neighbour Sherwood Forest as it is £65 cheaper than that course on a weekend, but anyone wanting a good round of golf at the weekend should give this course a whirl.

On arrival club shop is packed full off great equipment at bargain prices. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. I then proceeded to the 1st tee which was a basic par 4. The front 9 are wide open and a good drive will get you in touching distance of the green, plenty of opportunities for birdies and great for beginners to experiment. The back 9 are alot tighter and there are some beautiful holes that wouldnt look out of place on a championship course. Greens were in good condition, fairways a little thin in places. At the end of the round a nice clubhouse awaits serving a good pint. Overall a good experience at affordable prices. A good course for a beginner to improve their game without the pressure of professionals up their backside.

Very good course green much faster than last year when we played, staff very helpful and friendly, stopped for a roll up coaching lessons from the PGA professional very good value for money over all brilliant day
