the course has some challenging hole the course was a bit wet, but was well worth the money. it get's better every time

Played the course for the first time on Saturday 2 August. Very impressed. Course was in good condition. Quite hilly and tight fairways in places. 14th hole took my breath away - truly great design. A course that will make you think. Easier to lay up that try a 250 yarder, as one of my colleagues now agrees - having lost a ball or three. Great day out. Will definitely visit again.

Golf course was great!!! Weather didn't help us but the course drainage was good. Few puddles here and there which is totally expected with the amount of rain we have had. A lot of courses were closed in the area. Plus greens wasn't wet at all, they drain very well.
Very picturesque course all individual holes. Must mention how helpful and welcoming the PGA Professional Daniel is.

Played here for the first time. Didn't know what to expect. Greeted very helpfully by the PGA Professional who kindly showed me to the tee. Enjoyed the course very much. Some interesting holes, Every hole is independent no crossing over on fairways which I found at other courses around here. Greens running quick and true. All in all great afternoon spent!! Plus if you ring the shop during your round they deliver drinks to you, which was great!!

Played here yesterday. What a great course!! Some lovely holes and the condition of the golf course was lovely!! Greens run fast and true. Plus the Professional was very helpful and welcoming

Course is looking really improved from a few months ago - good layout. Great atmosphere with staff going extra mile. Decent range to hit a few balls before you go out helps too. Might even be back for a sunday dinner cos the food looks awesome.

First time i've played here and I am angry! Angry with myself for not playing it before and it's the closest course to where I live! Great pro-shop, fantastic driving range, friendly staff, lovely food and most importantly, a totally surprising course for the money. If you live in the surrounding areas, then give this place a go - I did and will 100% be back.

Played the course at the weekend and was expecting a very average experience. I couldn't have been more wrong! What a great course with friendly helpful staff. Front 9 is nice and relaxing, back 9 has some of the best holes i've seen or played in the area. Had a nice drink and sandwich in the relaxing 'Stag and Hind' restaurant/bar afterwards. I will be back for another round soon. Thank you.

Just Played the course this Morning
Had a super day, tend to play courses around the Mansfield area and I believe this is one of the best, very picturesque. Had a lovely Sunday lunch afterwards too. thanks

Hit some balls on the range first which is the best range I know of in Nottinghamshire
Golf Course was very interesting, some great holes, no temp greens or winter tees all year round which is unusually good too.
The PGA Pro welcomes you very nicely and takes you up to the first teeand gave me some handy tips.
Come in and had a lovely sandwich with my wife.
Overall a great experience and considering joining the club as its great value for money

Have played many courses locally. But have to say the staff are some of the best I have met. A great welcome. Helpful. The course layout is great. And in great condition. Visually some stunning holes. Food is cooked by mandy and her staff. The food is fresh and buitifully presented. We had a sunday lunch which was great value. Also open to none golfers. A must see for nottinghamshire golfers
